I graduated with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Welding Technology. In addition, I apply almost everything I learned at Tyler Junior College daily at work. I have a degree that works!

The welding classes were a lot of work, but fun and I learned a lot. However the Blueprint class is where I feel I learned the most. We actually learned a lot of math and were shown how it is applied on the job!

The company I work for was contracting out all the parts welded by the TIG process. I told my boss to send me to Tyler Junior College night classes to learn how to TIG weld and he could save some money. He agreed and now he says it was some of the best money he ever spent because the class applied directly to our needs!
